If you’re a Prime member and you get a late delivery, it’s likely you can get a credit (usually $5) just by asking customer support.

You can also use Paribus (from Capital One) that can notify you if you’re eligible for a possible refund. I have Capital One but haven’t used this service yet since I don’t buy a whole lot. They work with Target, Amazon, Gap and a few other big retailers. They’ll notify you if the retail price drops and help you get a refund, tell you if you’re eligible for compensation for a late delivery, and tell you the refund policies.
