Create a “lite” version of your workout to do when you’re not in the mood or when travelling

Most days I want to work out. But I do get those busy days or those days where I’m just not feeling like going to the gym.

Having a lite version of a workout makes it so you don’t miss out on exercise on days where you can’t do a full session.

Create a workout you can do just at home with no or little equipment.

When traveling , don’t rely on hotels to always have gyms or to have the right equipment. It’s best to design a workout that’s primarily focused on bodyweight exercises and stretching. If you’re really into working out, you can travel with light equipment like a jump rope.

NerdFitness has some examples of travel exercises you can do.

Try exercises like:

  • Pushups
  • Situps/crunches
  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • Plank
  • Jumping jacks
